Аннотация

In modern linguistics, the problem of influencing people's minds through speech is gaining relevance from the point of view of an anthropocentric approach. By influencing the interlocutor through speech in communication, it is possible to arouse certain emotions in him, form an attitude towards an issue, instill one's views, encourage him to perform/not perform an action, and even control the listener. The historical roots of the issue of influencing the listener through speech are inextricably linked with the art of oratory. In both the East and the West, attention is paid to oratory, and the ability to convince the public is considered one of the main aspects of oratory. In modern linguistics, attention is paid to the fact that linguistic means have become a tool for controlling the public, and the issue of speech influence is being studied from a psycholinguistic perspective in connection with the human personality, its consciousness, psyche, and language.
